Have you noticed the “For Lease” signs popping up around Burlingame? We have here at Burlingame Patch, and it got us thinking. What new businesses would you like to see take those spots?

Each week, we’ll present a new vacant building and ask you, the reader, to tell us what should go there. Forgot zoning rules and regulations for a minute. If this location could be used for anything, what would you like to see? What would be best for the community?

Last week, we featured the Burlingame Smoke Shop at 1400 Burlingame Avenue, which closed last spring. We got suggestings ranging from Jamba Juice to a hot dog stand.

This week, we're asking about 347 Primrose Road. On a street with Advanced Beauty Care, The Bridal Project and Halo Blow Dry Bar, it seems like the storefronts are being taken over by the ladies. Should the trend continue with another salon or boutique? Or do we need a hardware store to change things up a bit?
